Gulu Village is located on the cliff at the entrance of the Dadu River Grand Canyon in Sichuan. It is called a village on the cliff and is a village of the Yi ethnic group with more than 500 people. The only channel for villagers to communicate with the outside world is a mule horse road with a length of about 3 kilometers and a vertical height of nearly 1,000 meters, which was cut from the stone wall in 2003.

On May 29th, a group of 19 of us walked into this isolated place. The starting point of the mountain was from the famous Yixiantian scenic spot. The Tianshan Mountains on the first line were steep. At the mouth of the Laochanggou of the Dadu River, the two ditch and two fell steep walls. Parallel to each other, it is the longest large-span hollow railway stone arch bridge in the world. Now the bridge has been topped with a cap, which looks less spectacular. "Guanyin Mountain" starring Fan Bingbing was also shot here.

The road up the mountain is still difficult. The ramp is too steep and the ladder is too high. The addition of railings in 2003 is not that dangerous. Thinking about how the villagers lived here back then, some villagers have never been to the mountains in their lives, and they raised pigs and sheep, and the fruits and vegetables they planted could not be sold. The only means of transportation here is mules, so it is also called mule horse road.

The path up the mountain is winding and winding, and it is really not easy to walk up.

Gulu Village is very small. The houses here have been hundreds of years old. The family has lived in this small village for several generations. The current accommodation in Gulu Village can accommodate more than 100 people, all of whom are scattered to various fellow villagers. The conditions are certain. It's relatively poor. The walnuts here are delicious, with thin skin and thick meat, and the price is very cheap.
