There are two Wa autonomous counties, Cangyuan and Ximeng. Today, we are going from Cangyuan to Ximeng. My original plan was to take the small road in Xuelin Wa Township, but I asked the locals and said they didn’t know the condition of this road.

The navigation on Baidu Maps is very scary. It takes more than 15 hours to travel from Shuangjiang County-Jinggu-Pu'er. It takes more than 15 hours for 685 kilometers. I would definitely not go this way.

I met a local kind person at the gas station and told me that I could walk to Meng Province Town, then Tuanjie Township, around to Xiaohei River, and then go on G214 to Ximeng County. I don't remember the exact number of kilometers now, because it was only a walk all the way to get to the Xiaohei River, which is probably less than 300 kilometers.

I regretted it a bit, because later navigation from Cangyuan to Fubang Township via Xuelin Township was connected, and the section from Fubang Township to Ximeng County overlapped (the point of merging is on G214).

Let's take a look at the sinkhole first. Tiankeng is also called karst funnel. Cangyuan Tiankeng is the largest one in Yunnan Province.

On the way back, I finally saw the cliff painting scenic spot. It turned out that the entrance of the scenic spot was on the right side of a bend. When I came, I drove too fast. The bend caused a blind spot of vision and was missed. Tickets are 30 yuan per person, and children are free. I have a finger injured when I was a child. I asked if the disabled person is half price, the other party actually only charged half price. When I went up the mountain, I was scolded by my wife when I talked about it, haha.

It takes about 20 minutes to climb from the doorway to the cliff painting, and there is a pavilion for rest in the middle.

Next to the cliff painting, there is a Wa nationality selling special products. The green fruit is too sour, I have tasted it and didn’t buy it; the white bag contains the hard-shelled fruit. He said it is chestnut. After biting it, the meat inside is indeed a bit like chestnut. , 5 yuan a bag, I looked a bit like the core of jackfruit, I asked, it really is.

It is said that the pigments of cliff paintings are mixed with certain minerals with animal blood, and they can be preserved even after thousands of years.

Drawing from Cangyuan Cliff, we followed the route given by kind people and navigated in sections. It takes a long stretch of village road.
