The route for this trip is Huayang Town, Xinjin County, Chengdu City, Shangli Ancient Town, Qionglai City, Xinjin County, Chengdu City, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, Bifengxia Scenic Area, Ya'an City, Mengding Mountain Scenic Area, Baizhang Lake, Xilai Ancient Town, and then from Xinjin County returned to Huayang, Tianfu New District. The total estimated time is two days. The cycling distance is about 300 kilometers.

Shangli Town is located in the north of Yucheng District, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, 27 kilometers away from the urban area. It is located at the junction of the four counties. It connects with Mingshan and Qionglai in the east and Lushan and Yucheng in the west. The architectural pattern of Shangli Ancient Town has spatial characteristics dominated by residential buildings, and the architectural style is still dominated by the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Standing at the entrance of the ancient town, the ancient town is surrounded by mountains and rivers, facing the fields and hills, and contrasts with the surrounding bamboos, streams, and ancient bridges. The quaint buildings in the town are strewn with different heights and styles, with stone paved streets and wooden houses. The market is mainly laid out with the word "well", which means "there is water in the well" to prevent fire. Looking at it from a high level is like watching an ancient picture; being there, there is a feeling of going back in time, as if you are outside the world.

According to the surviving cultural relics in Ya'an, the original name of the ancient town is "Luosheng", which means the post and pass on the ancient road in the past. It is one of the checkpoints from the Bashu Plain to foreign ethnic regions. The ancient town is an important post from Linqiong Ancient Road on the Southern Silk Road to Ya'an in history, and it is also an important border tea pass and Chamasi location on the Tangbo Ancient Road.

Shangli Ancient Town has outstanding people since ancient times. Speaking of the ancient town, we have to mention "Wujiakou". The so-called "Wujiakou" means that from the Ming and Qing dynasties, the five families of Han, Yang, Chen, Xu and Zhang lived in Shangli Town, so it is commonly called "Wujiakou".

The five big families can be said to have their own merits, fame and fortune. The Han family is rich in money, so it is called "Han family silver"; the Yang family has been officials for generations, so it is called "Yang family Dingzi"; the Chen family has a lot of fields, so it is called "Chen family millet"; "Xu Family Woman"; Zhang family is good at martial arts, so it is called "Zhang Family Spindle".

In an old house on the ancient tea-horse road leading to Kangding in the ancient town, we were fortunate to meet the 73-year-old Yang Jiquan, the 22nd-generation descendant of the Yang family. The old man enthusiastically chatted with us about the history of the ancient town and the past of the Yang family. He said: "There are five big families in Shangli, and the Yang family is called the'Dingzi of the Yang Family'. My ancestors were in the tea business, and his horn (which is equivalent to the current shop name) is called Yuxing. They specialize in the production of tea. The finished tea will be shipped to Ganzi Prefecture (Sichuan), where it used to be called Dajianlu, which is now Kangding. From here, carry tea bags over Lushan (to Kangding)."

Today's five big families have long since fallen, and we can only imagine the prosperous scene of the ancient town from the description of the old people: businessmen are constantly coming and going, the town is prosperous, and the style of study is popular...

Among the five major families, only the Han family compound is relatively intact. Looking towards the courtyard, the houses in the courtyard are wooden pavilions, scattered with blue tiles and cornices, and the wooden windows, arches, and eaves are all made of relief, hollow carving, and inlaid carvings. The pictures are lifelike and exquisite art. Although it has been eroded by the years and lost its brilliance, the exquisite craftsmanship and the ingenuity of the composition cannot be concealed. The size of the old family can be seen.

Walking on the ancient streets paved with bluestone slabs in the ancient town, listening to the prosperous past that the descendants of the five great families told us, and witnessing the "carved columns and jade pillars" left by history, all these make us wonder.

In addition to the residences of the five major families, the ancient town houses are relatively well-preserved. Most of them are blue-tile houses. There is a wide-spreading theater in the center of the street. The original double-eave Xieshan top theater is rare in Chuanzhongchang Clever design. The ancient town also has the two major advantages of history and natural ecology. In the town surrounded by two waters, there are ancient bridges, ancient trees, ancient towns, ancient towers, ancient caves, ancient archways, plus the residences of the late Qing Dynasty (Han Family Courtyard), The fountain in the Tang Dynasty (Yuanzehou Baima Spring) has shown her unpretentious charm to the world for thousands of years.

After visiting the ancient town, it was already dark. The night market by the small river in the ancient town hastened time to start corruption. I ordered prawns, fish, braised beef, tart meat, and stewed chicken with wild mushrooms. As well as a few side dishes, I ordered a catty of wolfberry wine and a few bottles of beer wine, and the atmosphere was very cheerful.

After eating, they all returned to the hotel. Due to the small number of people on the Dragon Boat Festival. Hotel accommodation is very cheap, 320 yuan for five standard rooms. After riding the bike for a day, everyone was tired, and immediately rested after returning.
