Where is Dad going to Yaqing Temple Jumu Island

The Yaqing Temple was built in 1985 in Acha Township and currently has more than 20,000 monks and nuns. The majority of practitioners in the monastery are Juem (nun), which is a very influential temple in Tibetan areas. The small box rooms, ranging from thousands to more than 20,000, were built by the practitioners themselves. The Changqu River is surrounded by a small island. This island is the largest Jumu District in the world. Outside the island is the Zaba (Male Monk) District.

To see the panoramic view of Juem Island, you can drive to the side of the road under the Lotus Buddha statue. Yaqing Temple has no tickets and no parking fees. There are not many tourists and it is very quiet.

Hike up a small slope

This is Jumu Island. The island is densely populated with red houses, and Jumu (nuns) live there.

There are a few "Zaba", which are very friendly to the tourists.

Leaving Yaqing Temple, on the way to Ganzi County, there was a huge boulder with scriptures written around the Buddha statue.
